R.I.P Jeff Hanneman

RIP Jeff Hanneman
Founder, Lead Guitarist of Slayer
1964-2013

You will be remembered!

Below article was taken from The Forbes Magazine written by Ruth Blatt:

"The rock band Slayer’s act combines the gory visuals of horror movies, the content of true crime documentaries, the antics of shock art, and the precision of military missiles into fast and angry songs that have been loved by a loyal following for more than 30 years. The band’s best-known album, Reign in Blood, is widely considered to be a thrash metal masterpiece. That was back in 1986, but the band’s trajectory since then has hardly been one of decline. They won two Grammy Awards, in 2007 and 2008, and their 2006 album, Christ’s Illusion, debuted at number 5 on the Billboard chart, their highest chart position ever. All this without getting played on the radio. What’s more, they have mostly kept the same team since their formation in 1981"

Amy Winehouse R.I.P

It is sad to see an Icon gone, I've seen twice. Kurt Cobain shot himself in April 1994 and now, Amy Winehouse gone in July 2011. It seems like 27 is an ideal age to die. I'm now, starts to believe in the song 'My Generation by The Who' saying that " I'd rather die before get old". Yes it is true, if you die young, you will never be old..

She is great, even Sharon Osbourne said, she stop buying record for ages but starts buying again when Amy Winehouse giving a hope to the music.

Nike Air Max 97 Lux Limited Edition

Nike Air Max 97 Lux Limited Edition.

Perhaps this a Nike Air Max BIN collection. Very rarely is a Nike Air Max given a numbered notation that sort of thing is usually reserved for the Air Force 1 or Air Jordan. Like the Stash x Nike Air Classic BW and Eminem Nike Air Burst, this Italian-made Nike Air Max 97 Lux Limited Edition has a limited production run - 1,695 to be exact. The upper features luxurious molded leather with perforations on the tongue and side swoosh panel, sitting atop a hot-pink Air unit, while a rear tongue label and box tag reveals the limited quantity of the shoe

Lou Reed x Metallica

Thanks to Metallica.com for the photos

This one of the biggest collab for this year; Metallica and Lou Reed (Ex-Velvet Underground). Lou Reed describe to Rolling Stones, "A marriage made in heaven, I knew it from the first day we played together: 'Oh, man, this is perfection, right in front of me.'"

Reed and Metallica first played together in October 2009, at the 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerts in New York.

Ulrich says the album is "90 percent" finished. But there are no release plans yet. Reed does not have a record deal, and Metallica are no longer on Warner Bros. "We are free to go wherever," Ulrich says. "I'm obviously psyched for people to hear this, in whatever way we feel is right."
